Roulette is a game for enjoyment. Do
not play the game as a way of trying to make money. Skill is not
involved in the game of roulette. Maybe, that is why it is so popular
with alot of land based casinos.
Now that I have given you my opinions on the game of roulette, here are
a few tips that I have learned to reduce my losses.
1. If possible, if you are given the choice between playing the European
Roulette (single green 0) over the American Roulette (extra green 00),
choose the European roulette. The odds are better.
2. Do not think an outcome is more likely to hit just because it has not
hit for a number of rounds. As an example, say it has been black for 5
spins in a row. Thus, you think that red will come up for the 6th spin.
Well guess what, you might be wrong since the 6th spin is just as likely
to be black again as the roulette wheel has no memory of the outcomes of
previous spins. The odds of an outcome are the same for every single
spin, regardless of
results of previous spins.
3. You should always play the even money bets for the best playing time
value. Examples of this would be, even/odd, red/black, high/low.
4. If you do have a choice to play at a European roulette, do so. The
reason for this rule is that the table offers en prison. Thus, with this
rule when the ball lands on a green single or double zero you do not
lose your even money bets. As a player you leave the bets in place for
the next spin.
5. If playing American roulette, very common at most U. S. casinos, look
for a table with the surrender rule. Thus, should the ball land on
either the single or double zero you receive half your even money bets
back.
6. Never place the basket bet (the 5 number bet) as it offers the worst
betting odds on the table.
7. If playing for real money, play at a trusted online casino which
offers some kind of sign up bonus or monthly match bonus.
If you are going to play the game of roulette at an online casino, play
for enjoyment and do not expect to win a large sum of money. Just
remember, do not play the game of roulette as a way of trying to make
